Well, welcome to the about me section.

I've known I was an artist my entire life, but it was only until recently that I started to truly become one. You see, for far too long the extent of my creative expression was bound to doodles on the sides of notebooks, and maybe a quick sketch or two in the back of a textbook. I didn't think too much of my talent, and certainly didn't hold it to be a passion. Sure, when I was a kid I loved to draw - I'd spend hours on end sketching the same Dragon Ball Z and Naruto characters in my room, over and over again. I thought it was just one of those past times every kid had, played with, and then forgot about - just like a toy. It was only until my senior year of high school would I realize how utterly mistaken I was.

That was the year I decided I'd take my first art class - simply because it was required and gave the promise of an easy A. I was about to graduate, had already sent my college applications out, and was essentially on autopilot. Though, it's not so easy for a man to run from his fate. What I thought would be practically a study hall quickly became one of my most involved classes to date. Before I knew it, the about decade of untapped potential left ignored, forgotten, and famished was now alive, coursing through my veins with a brilliant vengeance. I'd come to the art studio before school, after school, and sometimes even during school just to simply work on whatever creation I was trying to perfect. Possesed by passion, all I could think was how wonderful it felt to be a kid again - it was a freedom I wished I'd never forgotten.

Picking up on this frenzy, my art teacher did me the favor of introducing me to digital art, and loaned me one of the school's only iPad Pros. It was from that day on I realized the artist in me would never know peace. I was leveled by that machine - I never knew such a thing could even exist, let alone be something I could use. Soon the lockdowns fell into place, giving me all the time in the world to see just how far I could take my craft. Entire days were devoted to simply learning about art, programs, animation, and so on and so forth.

I haven't stopped since, and I don't ever plan to. I'll always be perfecting, taking to the pen whenever and however I can.
